Glasgow and North Strathclyde (our badminton region) organise junior leagues. We normally have around thirty players from 8-17 playing.
They are normally ten events a year, mostly on Sunday mornings from 9am to 1pm and mostly at Scotstoun. They cost £8 to enter, but the club subsidise the cost to £6.50 to encourage players to compete. These competitions are open to all abilities and ages and players are pooled with players from other clubs of roughly equal ability. They are great fun, spectators are welcome, the badminton academy is normally bursting at the seams.
